This course will explore complex drawing and painting themes and methods in preparation for success in Advanced Placement 2-D Design or Drawing. An emphasis will be placed on expressive and creative approaches to drawing and painting techniques. To better prepare students for the demands of Advanced Placement, students will need to work independently and outside of class. Students will begin to create artworks for inclusion in an AP Studio Art: Drawing portfolio. This course serves as a bridge to Advanced Placement Drawing.
